Clear Limiting Beliefs & Heal: A Powerful 4-Step Process


Embarking on a healing journey is both exciting and daunting. It requires confronting our deepest thoughts, feelings, and beliefs, some of which may have been ingrained for years. But through this journey, we find liberation and transformation.

Today, I want to share a method that's been instrumental in my own healing – a method for clearing out old blocks and beliefs, making space for growth, authenticity, and self-love.


Step 1: Unleash Your Inner Voice – Freewriting for Emotional Release


The first step is tuning into yourself. Give yourself permission to express your thoughts and emotions freely, without judgment. I call this "word vomit." Simply grab a pen and paper, and let your thoughts flow freely. Start with "I am feeling..." and see where it takes you. No need to filter or censor – just be fully present with whatever arises.


Why it Works: Free-writing helps uncover limiting beliefs and negative thought patterns holding you back. By putting them on paper, you gain perspective and can begin to challenge them.


Step 2: Body Wisdom – Explore the Mind-Body Connection


As you free-write, you may notice physical sensations like tightness in your chest or a knot in your stomach. Acknowledge these sensations and explore their source. By bringing awareness to the physical manifestations of your emotions, you can begin to unravel the deeper layers of your subconscious mind.


Deeper Dive: Did you know? Studies show a strong connection between our thoughts, emotions, and physical health.


Step 3: Find Your Calm – Deep Breathing for Nervous System Regulation


Our nervous system plays a crucial role in how we process emotions. When overwhelmed, it can go into overdrive, making it difficult to find calm.

Here's a Simple Breathing Exercise: Take a few deep breaths, inhaling deeply and filling your lungs with air. Exhale slowly, releasing any tension or stress with each breath. Remind yourself that everything is safe, everything is fine, and everything is at peace.

Step 4: Embrace the Journey – Healing is Messy and Beautiful


As you engage in these practices, you'll experience a range of emotions: joy, sadness, anger, and relief. Embrace each one, knowing it's part of the healing process. Remember, healing isn't linear – it's messy, unique, and yours.

Because the truth is, you are powerful, amazing, and worthy of healing.
